Part Time Remote Digital Marketing Assistant — Copywriting & Social Media Management Role.
12-15 hours per week
Monday – Thursday
$30 p/h + bonuses

In this role you will primarily be working on a client account in the alternative healing space, so ideally you will have an interest in this (think meditation, crystals etc). You will be responsible for the creation of weekly marketing newsletters & weekly content creation for their social media pages.
The focus of this role will be on creative writing/ copywriting and creating social media content including some basic graphic design (for Instagram Stories) and writing post captions.
You’ll need to have good creative writing skills and a good eye for what looks good. You’ll need excellent organisational skills and the ability to self manage as this is a work from home position. You’ll need to be able to take responsibility for tasks and be confident working online on a computer.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Weekly team meetings via Zoom
- Writing social media post copy for various accounts
- Writing and designing newsletters in Active Campaign
- Responding to emails
- Communications via Slack
- Comment moderation and engagement on social media
- Basic website editing
- Organising your daily tasks in Asana
- Meeting social media content deadlines
- Basic graphic design creation for social media in Canva
Ideally you will have experience in online marketing, copywriting and social media. Training will be provided in these areas as well. Some graphic design skills would be ideal. Basic video editing would also be a bonus, but not essential.
There is scope for this role to develop further into other areas of digital marketing including advertising, product launches and digital strategy.
Hours of work are flexible between Monday and Thursday, although occasionally some small tasks may fall outside of these times.
The bulk of your work will be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in order to meet the client’s weekly deadlines for content creation.
